Minor Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Di Tullio PhD as the new Chief Commercial Officer, effective June 2023.
Extensive Experience and Proven Track Record
Di Tullio joins the Bangkok-based group from his previous role as Chief Commercial Officer Europe at Accor, where he successfully led commercial management and marketing efforts for Europe & North Africa. With a portfolio of nearly 3,000 hotels ranging from economy to luxury, his expertise spans various operating models, including management and franchise.
Expertise in Loyalty and Digital Innovation
In addition to his proven record in driving commercial success, Di Tullio brings a deep understanding of loyalty programs, analytics, customer engagement, and digital strategies. His previous roles at Accor, Qatar Airways, and Air Canada allowed him to spearhead groundbreaking innovations in customer loyalty, digital marketing, and distribution.
Global Management Experience
Di Tullio’s career encompasses extensive global management experience in travel, hospitality, aviation, consulting, retail, and media. He has successfully led multicultural teams at senior levels across three continents, demonstrating his ability to navigate diverse environments and achieve results.
Di Tullio holds a PhD in Marketing from Cranfield University in the UK and an executive MBA from Queen’s University in Canada. He has also received executive education in Marketing Analytics from The Wharton School. As a guest lecturer at various universities and a frequent speaker at international events on commercial, digital, loyalty, analytics, and customer engagement topics, he is highly regarded in the industry. Fluent in English, French, and Italian, Di Tullio brings a global perspective to his new role.
