The event aims to address the increasing need for comprehensive and sustainable cybersecurity solutions, with a focus on the theme of “Resilient Cybersecurity for Thailand’s Digital Future.”

Topics include “Update on New Regulations and Impact on Cyber Security in Thailand,” “Exposure Management in Enterprise Security – Benchmarking Your Security Posture,” and “From Relentless Adversaries to Resilient Business.”
Rapidly transforming into a digital society
As Thailand rapidly transforms into a fully digital society, every industry must prioritize security and cybersecurity readiness. AVM Amorn Chomcheoy, NCSA’s Secretary-General notes that it is crucial to address the increasing cyber threats the country faces, including website intrusions, digital vandalism, deceptive phishing schemes, and strategically embedded malware to entice downloads. The Smart Cybersecurity Summit Thailand will foster collaboration between Thai government agencies and international organizations to strengthen Thailand’s ability to effectively combat cyber threats.

The summit will also serve as a platform for organizations to improve their cybersecurity literacy and adopt cutting-edge technology to safeguard personal information. Since the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 came into effect in June 2022, Vice President of the Data Protection Officers Association (DPOA) Mr. Suriya Nachin remarked that businesses in Thailand have become increasingly focused on safeguarding personal information.
